Business Development Manager - Alexandria, VA
This is a position for a Business Development and Capture Manager. Candidate should have experience developing and executing senior level military contact plans and engagement. Candidate will manage and execute military sales objectives, develop decision mapping and other required planning documents for military opportunities. Responsible to develop and lead military customer satisfaction engagement. Engagement of broader Department of Defense (DOD), Political (local and federal) stakeholders as required. Collaborate with partner companies as required to win new business. Develops messaging, assist in development of marketing packages. Responsible for technical and business offering development. Responsible for leading and engaging proposal development team. Closing on opportunities by timely submission of proposals and participation in negotiations as required. Travel will be required for position.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical field or related experience.
Experience with Military capture in aftermarket services.
Knowledge and experience with US Government and Foreign Military Sales procurement and annual Operations and Support(O&S)process.
Experience with DoD proposal development.
Experience with US military and DoD civilian customer interface.
Knowledge and experience with capture strategy development and planning.
Proven Leadership skills in the management of diverse team members including consultants.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic business development plans.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Candidate must be able to pass a US Government Position of Public Trust background check.
